Eyes on Children
Children learn to see when they are babies. In the first 3 years of life, your child will develop varying vision skills that will serve them throughout life. It is important to have your child’s vision development checked by age three. However, if you notice an eye turn, favoring one eye, redness of the eyes, excessive tearing or a tendency to bump into things, you should have your child’s eyes checked by an eye doctor sooner. Dr. Le specializes in children’s vision and provides a comprehensive exam for your child to detect any early vision impairments (i.e. eye turns, lazy eyes) or undetected vision conditions that may lead to preventable blindness (amblyopia).
